The oldest design of drum dryer is still widely used throughout the food and chemical industries, due to its simplicity and ease of use. Double drum dryers are ideal for drying free-flowing liquid products, such as milk or spent brewer’s yeast.
The drum dryer with applicator rolls has been specially developed for the dehydration of cereal products, starches and fruit mixes. This type of drum dryer is widely used for producing instant breakfasts and baby foods, pre-gelatinized starches, potato flakes and powders, dried sweetcorn and tomato powders, etc.
Tubular dryers and coolers
